Tariq Ghaleb Abu Sir graduated from the scientific stream in high school in 2000, just before Al-Aqsa Mosque Intifada. He registered at Applied Science Private University In Jordan, majoring in computer science. Tariq stayed there for almost two years before he decided to go back home when the Intifada was at its climax, and he arranged with the university in Jordan to apply for a semester at An-Najah National University. Afterward, he decided to stay in his homeland and enrolled in Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology in computer networks and the internet.

Even with the opposition and concerns his family raised about the two years that will be wasted, he will switch from pursuing a BA degree to a technical diploma. Still, he followed this path and graduated with a diploma in computer networks and the internet.

Tariq says his experience was fruitful. After all, his courses were fascinating and comprehensive, which helped him because he was working in the same field of study he was pursuing. Tariq then resumed working in the same job two years after his graduation.

By the end of 2006, he established START, his own company specializing in internet technology, and now he is the CEO. The companys scope now is inside and outside the country, in the Gulf States and Jordan.

Tariq says: I would like to advise the youth who are about to get into university or education to be their own boss, to take thoughtful decisions and after studying the market data. They also need to pay attention to the Palestinian market needs of skilled craftsmen and technicians.”
