An-Najah Centre for Training and Agricultural Research was established in 2014.Itwasfunded by the European Union and supervised by GIZ.

The centre is an agricultural school in An-Nassariya, Nablus built over a square of 72 acres of which 11 are arable landsofAn-Najah National Community College.

The centre has an advanced weather station and offers the students practical training programmes over a period of a growing season.The programmes train students on speeding up crop growth, implementing the integrated pest management controls approach and becoming experts in controlling the environmental conditions in the field.

The centre also supplies the Palestinian labour market with competent agricultural technicians holding certificates accredited by the Palestinian Ministry of Labor.
