The Cisco Networking Academy was established at Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology in September 2009 with funding from the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The academy comprises a high-specification computer lab and a dedicated training room equipped with routers and switches. Its qualified academic staff—who have trained ten in-house instructors—deliver training to both trainers and students.
Beyond its core mission of training students and technicians in networking, maintenance, and security, the academy serves as a regional centre for instructor training and technical support in computer networking, supporting academies both locally and abroad.
Training Programmes
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
- IT Essentials (computer maintenance)
