Smart Production Program Trainees Visit the National Carton Industry Company to Enhance Employment Opportunities
As part of the activities of the specialized Smart Production training program—supervised by the Palestinian Vision Organization in partnership with Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology and supported by F4J Careerz—a field visit was conducted to the National Carton Industry Company.
The visit included a guided tour of the factory, where participants explored the production lines and learned about the manufacturing processes and operational stages. Trainees were also introduced to the company’s quality control procedures and occupational safety standards, helping to strengthen the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical application in a real industrial environment.
The visit was attended by Mr. Alaa Darwish, representing Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology. This initiative forms part of a series of planned field visits aimed at connecting program graduates with the private sector through direct engagement with companies and creating meaningful employment opportunities.
The visit also included job interviews with several participants, organized in cooperation with the company’s management, to explore potential employment opportunities based on the company’s needs and the trainees’ qualifications. This step aligns with the project’s objectives of enhancing employability and creating direct career pathways for program graduates.
