Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology Honored at Erasmus+ Meeting for Excellence in Exchange and Capacity-Building Programs
Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology participated in the Erasmus+ informational meeting held in Ramallah, where the College was honored in recognition of its outstanding performance in capacity-building projects and international academic exchange programs.
The certificate of appreciation was received on behalf of the College by Dr. Amer Massad, Dean of the College, alongside Mr. Alaa Darwish, Coordinator of the Studies and Projects Unit, in recognition of the College’s active role in strengthening international partnerships and successfully implementing Erasmus+ projects with professionalism and tangible impact.
It is worth noting that the College has recently secured the INTexPaL Project, an EU-funded initiative focused on developing the textile and apparel sector in Palestine and Lebanon, while promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in the field. The project was awarded to Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology to support the capacity building of higher education institutions and enhance the skills of students and professionals working in this vital sector. The initiative also aims to prepare participants to address the challenges of the European market and improve the competitiveness of local products.
This recognition, along with the successful implementation of international projects, highlights the College’s leading role in advancing technical and vocational education and contributing to the development of the national economy through impactful international programs under Erasmus+.
