The Department of Aerial Surveying at An-Najah Community College organized a workshop on entrepreneurship and startup projects, focusing on the current landscape of entrepreneurship in Palestine and the structure of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem. The workshop also addressed the role of business incubators and accelerators and the services they provide to startups, including training, mentoring, and incubation.
The workshop was organized under the supervision of Ms. Amal Minawi as part of the Entrepreneurship course.
The session hosted Ms. Suhair Al-Saleh, an entrepreneurship trainer and mentor specializing in the establishment of small businesses and the founder of the project “Keffiyeh Two.” She also works at Masrouji Trading Company (Ramallah) as a Training and Human Resources Development Officer.
During the workshop, Ms. Al-Saleh discussed the key factors that contribute to the success or failure of entrepreneurial projects and explored the motivations driving Palestinian youth to establish their own businesses. She also highlighted the importance of training, skills development, and identifying the competencies necessary to successfully launch and sustain entrepreneurial ventures.
