Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology Organized Open Day for High School Students 2025

Under the patronage of H.E. Prof. Rami Hamdallah, Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of An-Najah National University and Chairman of the Board of Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, the College organized its Open Day for High School Students on Tuesday, August 12, 2025. The event was attended by a large number of high school students and their families, along with members of the academic and administrative staff, and was launched with an opening ceremony in the College auditorium.

The day began with a welcoming reception for students and their families, followed by the Palestinian national anthem. Dr. Amer Massad, Dean of Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, then delivered opening remarks, welcoming the attendees and reaffirming the College’s commitment to providing a technical and vocational learning environment that meets the needs of local and regional labor markets. He also outlined the College’s academic offerings, which include two-year diploma programs and one-year professional diploma programs, highlighting the strong partnership between the College and the labor market to ensure programs are aligned with both local and international demands.

The program featured a short introductory video about the College and its academic programs, followed by inspiring success stories from two alumni, Abdullah Emad Khader and Mohammad Salahat, who shared their academic journeys and professional achievements.

The day concluded with guided tours of the College’s laboratories and workshops, where students and their families explored the wide range of practical training facilities and viewed outstanding student projects from various specializations.

This event reflects the College’s mission to serve the community and its vision to prepare highly qualified professionals capable of competing in the job market. It also underscores the College’s dedication to guiding high school students toward the value of technical and vocational education and its vast opportunities in both local and international employment sectors.
