Hisham Hijjawi College Hosts Cultural Competition Between Its Students and An-Najah National Community College

The Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology hosted a student cultural competition organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at An-Najah National University, under the patronage of Prof. Abdel Naser Zaid, President of the University. The event featured active participation from students as well as members of the academic and administrative staff.

The competition brought together teams from Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology and An-Najah National Community College. The event opened with a welcoming presentation by Ms. Faten Abu Za’rour, followed by an address from Dr. Amer Massad, Dean of Hisham Hijjawi College, who expressed his delight in hosting such a distinctive cultural activity. The competition officially began with the Palestinian national anthem.

The judging panel included Ms. Ghada Abu Al-Heija, Ms. Clara Ya’eesh, Mr. Yousef Daraghmeh, and Ms. Muna Juma, who oversaw the contest with professionalism and fairness, fostering a spirit of healthy competition.

The event witnessed an atmosphere of enthusiasm and interaction between the two teams. In the end, the Hisham Hijjawi College team was declared the winner with 44 points, compared to 30 points for the An-Najah National Community College team.

The competition concluded with both teams being honored with financial and in-kind prizes presented by the Deanship of Student Affairs, the Dean of Hisham Hijjawi College, and the Head of Student Affairs. The event was marked by vibrant student attendance and strong engagement from both the academic and administrative staff of the College.
