Empowering Future Innovators: Hisham Hijjawi College Launches Entrepreneurship and Curriculum Development Training for Female Students

Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology recently organized a three-day specialized training session focused on entrepreneurship and curriculum development for its students. This initiative is part of the Gender-Responsive and Inclusive Technical and Vocational Education and Training (Thabari) Project, implemented by the Lutheran World Federation and the Canadian Lutheran World Relief, with funding from the Government of Canada.
Led by Mr. Hasan Omar, a renowned expert in entrepreneurship, the training targeted a select group of female students benefiting from the Thabari project scholarships. In addition to delivering practical insights into entrepreneurship, Mr. Omar discussed opportunities for grants that support students interested in launching their own entrepreneurial ventures.
This training underscores the college’s dedication to equipping its students with essential skills in entrepreneurship while also fostering curriculum development that aligns with modern educational practices. Furthermore, it reflects Hisham Hijjawi College’s commitment to promoting gender inclusivity, empowering female students, and fulfilling its broader social responsibility to support sustainable development through education.
