On Sunday, September 29, 2024, the Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology and An-Najah National Community College hosted the practical part of the 2024 Summer Comprehensive Exam, which covered students from both Colleges whose specializations require hands-on assessments.
The exam was supervised by Dr. Amer Massad, Dean of Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology and An-Najah National Community College and Exam Coordinator at Hisham Hijjawi College; Mr. Ayman Hudali, Head of the Student Affairs Unit at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Exam Coordinator for both Colleges; Ms. Rana Abu Zaarour, Director of the Comprehensive Exam at the Ministry; and Mr. Majed Amous, Head of An-Najah National Community College and Exam Coordinator there.
During the exam, students were closely monitored inside classrooms and laboratories by faculty members from both Colleges, in addition to specialized supervisors from the public and private sectors.
The Comprehensive Exam is designed to measure students’ ability to integrate and apply both fundamental and advanced concepts acquired during their studies, as well as to solve educational and practical problems in their field of specialization. It also serves as a prerequisite for bridging programs at Palestinian universities and for eligibility to apply for government positions.
