Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology Concludes Vehicle Inspectors Training Course

On Wednesday, December 27, 2023, An-Najah Training and Rehabilitation Center at Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transportation, concluded the Vehicle Inspectors Training Course. The course spanned 220 training hours in the college's specialized laboratories and workshops, overseen by a team of experts from the college.


The closing ceremony began with a recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in honor of the martyrs, in the presence of Dr. Amer Massad, Dean of Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology; Mr. Alaa Darwish, Head of An-Najah Training and Rehabilitation Center and Coordinator of the Studies and Projects Unit; Major Ahmed Abu Al-Rub, Deputy Director of Nablus Traffic Police; Eng. Ibrahim Hussuna, representing the Ministry of Transportation; and Mr. Abdel-Monaem Dweikat, Director of Technical Centers at Hisham Hijjawi College and one of the course trainers. Several course trainers, institutional representatives, and the course graduates also attended.

Dr. Massad welcomed the attendees and expressed pride in the course’s success, emphasizing its value to the job market. He highlighted that Hisham Hijjawi College is home to a specialized team in vehicle mechanics, with laboratories that meet the highest standards, positioning it as a leading institution in vocational education. He wished the graduates success in applying their newfound skills to the market.

Major Abu Al-Rub, on behalf of the Nablus Police Directorate, extended gratitude to Hisham Hijjawi College for organizing the course, stressing its importance in providing skilled professionals to the automotive sector. He congratulated the graduates, particularly the traffic police personnel, noting that they would apply their training to serve the traffic department.

Eng. Hussuna underlined the significance of vehicle inspectors in the transportation system, noting the responsibility and integrity required in the role. Mr. Darwish also commended the participants for their dedication, reaffirming the center's commitment to providing high-quality courses that equip the community with essential expertise.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of graduation certificates to the participants.
