Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology Partners with Ministry of Transportation to Launch Comprehensive Vehicle Inspectors Course

An-Najah Center for Training and Rehabilitation at Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology, in collaboration with the Palestinian Ministry of Transportation, officially launched the highly anticipated Vehicle Inspectors Course on Thursday, June 15, 2023. Spanning 220 intensive training hours, the course is held in the state-of-the-art laboratories and workshops of Hisham Hijjawi College, with expert instructors from the college guiding participants through every stage of the program.
The launch event was attended by key figures including Dr. Amer Mssad, Dean of Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology; Mr. Alaa Darwish, Head of An-Najah Training and Rehabilitation Center and Coordinator of the Studies and Projects Unit; and Mr. Hatem Sbeih, faculty member and one of the course trainers. Representatives from the Ministry of Transportation were also present, including Eng. Nidal Al-Salous, Director of the Occupation and Transportation Department; Eng. Yasser Sawalmeh, General Director of Internal Control; and Mr. Khaled Abu Hashiya, Director of the Inspectors Department, alongside participants eager to begin their training.
In his opening remarks, Dr. Mssad welcomed the distinguished guests and participants, reaffirming Hisham Hijjawi College’s commitment to producing highly skilled graduates ready to meet the demands of both local and global job markets. He emphasized the college’s leadership in vocational education, particularly in the field of vehicle mechanics, where its cutting-edge laboratories and specialized staff have set it apart as a premier institution.
Representatives from the Ministry of Transportation commended the quality of education at Hisham Hijjawi College, highlighting the exceptional skills of its graduates in vehicle mechanics and the increasing demand in the market for certified vehicle inspectors. They stressed the critical role this course plays in preparing technicians for the growing needs of the automotive sector.
