About the Unit
The Vocational Guidance Unit seeks to apply professional aptitude assessments and assist students — including marginalized groups and individuals with disabilities — in identifying their future career orientations. The unit provides students with the vocational guidance services they need, based on the demands of the local, regional, and international labor markets. It also discusses students’ interests in current and future vocational programs to help them make informed educational and career choices.
To provide tools and assessments that identify students’ interests, abilities, and vocational preferences.
To prepare students from all backgrounds to choose suitable technical specializations and successfully enter the labor market in alignment with their interests, abilities, and skills.
- To introduce students to the available technical and vocational specializations, their characteristics, and admission requirements.
- To help students — particularly girls and students with disabilities — understand their interests, readiness, abilities, personal traits, and skills.
- To assist students — especially girls and students with disabilities — in selecting the technical specialization that best suits their interests and capabilities.
- To provide guidance for students who wish to change their fields of study.
- To familiarize students with the types of jobs related to each available specialization.
- To help students make informed decisions in choosing careers that match their potential and aspirations.
