Services and Maintenance Department
The Services and Maintenance Department is one of the core divisions of the college. It operates in coordination with all administrative and academic levels, and the Head of Services reports directly to the Dean of Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology.

Objectives
- Preserve and maintain the college’s assets and facilities.
- Ensure the optimal use of facilities and maintain cleanliness across all college premises.
- Provide logistical support for the educational process.
Main Tasks
- Maintaining and developing the college gardens to reach an exceptional level of quality and beauty.
- Conducting regular daily inspections to ensure the proper condition of all buildings.
- Supervising cleaning operations inside buildings and restrooms, ensuring high hygiene standards through regular field visits.
- Participating in relevant committees and councils as required by the nature of work.
- Submitting regular and special reports to the Dean, along with recommendations for improving the quality of general services.

Additional Responsibilities
- Water Quality: Regular water testing is conducted to ensure the health and safety of the college’s staff and students. The main water tank levels are monitored daily.
- Electricity: The college has installed 320 solar panels on its rooftop, providing a significant portion of its electricity needs and helping reduce operational costs for the university.
