Renewable Energy Engineering
This program aims to graduate well-qualified technicians, both theoretically and practically, in the field of renewable energy. Graduates will be equipped with the skills to install and maintain renewable energy systems, work in maintenance and installation units for solar energy distribution companies, and serve in governmental, public, and private institutions operating backup power generation systems.
They will also be prepared to contribute to NGOs and international organizations active in renewable energy, participate in large-scale projects, and pursue opportunities in engineering sales and trade related to renewable energy systems. The program is designed to prepare graduates for successful entry into the local and regional labor market and to keep pace with global developments in renewable energy.
Graduates of the Renewable Energy Engineering program will be able to:
• Read, interpret, and implement traditional and renewable energy electrical diagrams.
• Install and maintain solar power generation systems.
• Install and maintain wind power generation systems.
• Measure consumption, efficiency, and storage in solar and wind energy systems.
