Graphic Design

The Graphic Design program is closely connected with modern information technology, preparing students for careers in advertising, media institutions, and creative industries. The program provides both academic and professional training, enabling graduates to design and produce print and digital advertisements, motion graphics, 3D and interactive visual content, as well as multimedia designs, using the latest design technologies and methodologies. Students also gain expertise in computer applications, visual communication, artistic expression, and innovative design practices.

Program Duration: Two academic years (70 credit hours).

Graduates of the Graphic Design program will acquire the ability to:
• Design, develop, and implement diverse print materials and graphic design projects.
• Master digital image editing and processing techniques.
• Edit and integrate audio and video to enhance interactive graphic designs.
• Apply various design techniques (photo editing, blending, illustration, montage) in developing creative visual content.
• Utilize creative graphic models to solve design problems and build relevant applications.
• Create interactive models and designs for advertising materials and multimedia projects.
• Apply ready-made design tools to produce images, advertising prints, and interactive media while ensuring integration with other graphic technologies.
• Develop artistic drawing skills, combining classical art techniques with computer-based 2D and 3D applications.
• Master digital photography, image processing, and publishing artistic creativity through computer tools.
• Apply web development applications and basic web design languages.
• Produce a variety of artistic and creative works for newspapers, advertisements, educational programs, entertainment, exhibitions, and promotional campaigns.
• Work proficiently with major graphic design software, including Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Flash, Adobe Dreamweaver, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects.
• Operate across different computer platforms (Mac & PC) and apply them effectively in graphic design.
