The Hisham Hijjawi College of Technology was completed and started training the first group of technicians in October 2001. The college was funded by the Hisham Hijjawi Institute and An-Najah National University as well as the Federal Government of Germany with the support of other Arab and foreign countries.

The college aims at providing professional and technical education through programs that combine theory and application. It also aims at producing qualified graduates in the technical fields that meet the requirements of the job market, in an efficient, effective and sustainable manner.
